General Practitioners – New Zealand

Back 4 Good – Your future in New Zealand is working on key assignments in the primary health care sector in New Zealand and are currently looking for a number of qualified General Practitioners

We are looking for GPs who will be responsible for providing safe, patient-centred, culturally appropriate and individually holistic care to a defined population.

The GP role will include the following accountabilities,

. Provide Primary Care Service

. Provide timely clinical and culturally appropriate health services

. Work collaboratively with other health providers

. Provide Health promotion and health education to patients

. Ensure all patient services are charged appropriately

. Ensure all patient information is accurate , appropriate and in accordance with agreed protocols

. Assist with reporting requirements

. Actively participate in continued quality improvements and risk management .

. Actively participate and comply with the requirements of the Health & Safety in Employment Act 1992 and amendments and associate PHCL policies .

Qualifications

. Current registration with the MCNZ

. Membership or fellowship ( or applying for in the case of overseas GPs ) of the RNZCCP

. Experience in the use of Medtech.

. Experience mentoring and coaching colleagues within the work environment

. Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills

. Excellent interpersonal skills

. Ability to communicate with and assisting in a diverse range of stakeholders with commitment to services and positive outcomes .

. Self motivated with an ability to work indpenedently
